The government of Nepal has announced concessional loans for the purchase of laptops to support alternative education due difficult time of this corona pandemics.
Finance Minister Mr. Bishnu Prasad Poudel has announced that loans will be available for students studying at higher secondary and higher levels of public schools and campuses through the budget of the Fiscal Year 2078/79 BS to support the student technically. The student above 16 years are only eligible for the loan finance Minister also said that the interest on such loans would be only given at the rate of one percent. Similarly, students above the age of 16 will be afforded one SIM card free of cost, said Minister Poudel.
